Entry to Clifford’s Inn is by means of an electronic fob which is issued to all leaseholders and new residents. The fob enables access to the building in the event that the reception desk is unattended. We are fortunate to have staff on site at the reception desk 24/7 and this contributes greatly to the excellent security record of the building. We can all help with ensuring that Clifford’s Inn remains a very safe place to live by remembering to only allow access to people who you know should have the right to enter the building.
If any member of staff is away from the reception desk on a break or on other duties in the building, they can be contacted on the mobile phone number noted in Contacts.
A Residents’ Handbook has been compiled outlining items that may be of interest to Clifford’s Inn residents. It includes details such as fire evacuation procedures, how to dispose of rubbish, who to turn to in the event of something going wrong, etc.
The purpose of the handbook is to help everyone understand processes and procedures so that Clifford’s Inn remains a very pleasant place to live.
Please don’t hesitate to contact Smith Waters if you think it should include any other information that currently isn’t part of the Handbook.
Every year, an AGM for leaseholders is held at a location nearby. The AGM is usually held at a time that enables people who work full time to attend. The AGM deals with the formalities of running CIMC and includes items such as the election of Directors and appointment of Auditors.
The annual AGM is usually followed by a leaseholders’ meeting where leaseholders are able to ask questions of the Board and Managing Agents. Whilst the meeting is open to all residents of Clifford’s Inn, only leaseholders are able to vote on any matters raised.
